The belt tool ring is designed to be used with a GUT belt or integrated bunker belt and is comprised of 1 1/2" webbing with a loop to go over the belt and a metal ring with a 3 1/2" inside diameter to fit an axe or Halligan bar. The belt tool ring allows the firefighter a hands-free option for carrying a tool. This is beneficial for maintaining 3 points of contact while climbing a ladder or during high rise operations when multiple pieces of equipment need to be carried up several flights of stairs. The FFBTR is an excellent adjunct to the flashlight strap (FFFS).
