“Lighting the path to scene safety” is not just our mission, it is a critical need for the protection of our first responders. Those who serve us in emergency medical service roles often find themselves in dark and unfamiliar places as they arrive on scene and work to administer urgent care and transport to a medical facility.

Conceived of by one of our founders here at Size-Up Solutions LLC, an EMT & Paramedic with over 10 years of experience in EMS and volunteer firefighting, we know full well the danger that dark hallways, poorly lit roadways and rough terrain pose to those who run toward the emergency and work to save lives. Designed by our co-founding engineers, Gurney Guide™ is a retrofit lighting system for cots that illuminates what could be treacherous situations and helps protect EMS and patients from trips and falls that may cause further injury.

For situations requiring a stair chair, our Stair Flare™ will light the path and help overcome shadows on stairways, corridors, and other areas that cots cannot be used.
