The Whelen 295SSA1 Dual Siren Control Center is a compact, compliant, and highly functional siren system built to meet California Title XIII sound output requirements with a range of customizable features for emergency response vehicles. Equipped with either a handheld or full-function controller, this control center offers 17 Scan-Lock™ siren tones and short circuit, under/over voltage protection, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. LED fault indicators provide real-time speaker and input voltage diagnostics, while the built-in horn-ring transfer relay and “Siren in Use” video recorder icon confirm operational status. With its single amplifier driving a Whelen 100-watt speaker, the unit includes 11 programmable power distribution switches—one three-position slide switch and eight momentary switches—offering flexible, reliable control options. These switches, programmable for push-on/push-off, momentary, flashing, or timed output, can also manage two-wire Traffic Advisor™ control. Safety is further enhanced with the Park Kill control input and the inability for users to alter programming in-cab.
